What it is and why it matters!
Email Marketing: According to Google, email marketing is "the act of sending a commercial message, typically to a group of people, using email." This definition of email marketing is correct, but where most people mess up email marketing the most is in their sales funnel. What I mean by that is, do not use a email marketing service that over complicates the process of creating a business template. If the process is not simple, then in my own personal opinion, you should not use it.
The next time email marketing is messed up is once a customer is added to your marketing list. What I see at this stage in most marketing funnels is that business owners either send too many emails or simply not enough. To remedy this, I recommend to all my clients that they send three emails per week. Each email filled with personal stories, anecdotes, promotional content, and coupons. The best part about email marketing is that your communicating with a list of people who love your product or service just as much as you do.
Lastly, the one thing you want to learn is how to stay out of your customer's spam folder. And the best way to do this is by providing good and thoughtful content. The only time emails get thrown into spam by Google is if the information inside the email appears to be misleading. For example, if you title an email with the subject line, "help a prince return home," and then try to promote car insurance once the email is opened, Google will eventually begin to send your emails to someone's spam folder because emails from your sender address would be classified as "click bait."
However, why do your email marketing on your own, when you can have a dedicated team to help you send the perfect message to your customers. If you are ready to succeed at email marketing, click the blue button and let's schedule a FREE strategy call.
